Will there be a time when we won't have to worry about security against deliberate people-caused harm/crime/terrorism? Will people be able to choose the good out of their own free will?
There are so many advantages of societies/communities living peaceful, trustworthy lives: Less stress - more relaxation, less red-tape/bureaucracy - more convenience. Instead of spending all its time building walls and obstructions, the people seek to be good neighbors. Instead of piling up weapons, the community shares tools with each other. If ever the need for defense arises, we can rely on God, who can resolve conflicts beyond human capability.
"Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places."

The good news is we can start today, wherever we are. Start praying about it. We can put all our hope in God and live without fear, having only the fear of God, the desire of obeying Him.
